Key Responsibilities

The Manager, Social Media & Content maintains all social media marketing channels for the business and designs campaigns that are aligned with a target audience.  In addition, the successful individual in this role will manage a team of copywriters and provide oversight to all product content.  Prepare and develop social media content to support and enhance the organization's brand and operations.  Tracks performance of various social media initiatives and implements changes to improve business results.

Responsibilities:

•    Supports and executes the organization's social media strategy, including marketing plans that leverage social media outlets.
•    Provides input into strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
•    Develop and oversee the creation of all mark comms product and email copy
•    Consider ways to communicate Company’s brand message, which is consistent with the creative strategy.
•    Monitors, posts to, and analyzes social media channels to build a community of followers and enhance interaction.
•    Will use creativity and copy-editing skills to ensure concise, accurate, interesting and appealing content to best serve individual platforms.
•    Manage Q&A process for web publication.
•    Develops and maintains online content that attracts attention, generates interest, and is easily shared with social networks.
•    Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the marketing community, including latest social media trends.
•    Establishes relationships with bloggers and other members of the online community.
•    Innovate ways to engage bloggers and other online influencers.
•    Develops communications and a response management protocol to all online, social media posts that are directly written on Company social media platforms.
•    Provide ideas and insight on boosting followers, engagement, and drives brand awareness and growth.
•    Grow a social following across key target segments and social media influencers.
•    Build and manage relationships and collaborations with influencers to drive brand awareness.
•    Implements tools to collect and utilize metrics and to enhance traffic and engagement with a social network.
•    Collects and analyzes data related to social media marketing campaigns.
•    Responsible for improving the collection of data and the creation of new Product within the database more efficiently.
•    Ownership of the Master Data and operates in conjunction with Product Management and Product Merchandising teams with responsive changes to product information
•    Manages team that addresses business data issues and resolutions
 

Competencies and skills

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with a minimum of 2-3 years of related brand management experience.
•    Exhibit creative, innovative and influencer skills.
•    Demonstrated strong analytical and decision making skills.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills; with experience working on cross-functional teams.
•    Strong project management skills and ability to complete projects on time.
•    Social Media experience with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn in a professional capacity preferred
